If you have a RoadPro 12-Volt Stove you are most likely familiar with a few recipes you can make in it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But, have you ever tried to make a banana bread in your stove before? In just a few short hours, you will have a warm slice of banana bread!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 2 1/2 hours
Servings: 6-8
Yield: 1 Loaf
Ingredients:
– 2 medium bananas peeled
– 1/3 cup butter, unsalted or salted, melted
– 1/2 tsp baking soda
– 1 pinch salt
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1 large egg, beaten
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
– Preheat the stove and plug it into a 12-Volt
– In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
– Mix in remaining ingredients. Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and flour.
– Spray the foil pan with cooking oil.
– Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan.
– Bake in the RoadPro 12-Volt Stove for 2 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
– Remove from the RoadPro 12-Volt Stove and let cool completely before serving.
